Sunnydale Garden Centre opened in May 2001, taking over from the already successful Pugh's Garden Centre which had opened in 1995. Since taking over, the new centre has continued to develop the existing site as well as expanding the extensive plant area.
The centre now offers one of the widest selections of shrubs, climbers and herbaceous plants in South Wales. Plans to extend on the range of products and services are well on their way for this year.
Sunnydale Garden Centre offers expert advice from well qualified staff on all aspects of plants and shop items that we sell. There is a strong emphasis on quality, price and above all good service to our customers.
As well as our excellent range of plants we also specialise in a huge quality range of terracotta and glazed pots sourced from all over the world at heavily discounted prices.
Our range of stone pots and ornaments is second to none in South Wales and is still being expanded.
The Garden Centre also benefits from a large specialist Aquatic centre run by Maidenhead Aquatic, who offer a superb range of tropical, marine and cold water fish along with ponds, pumps and many other accessories.
There is also a shed manufacturer on site, who is able to offer an excellent range of sheds and fencing, customised to size if required.
The Garden Centre has negotiated a wonderful range of garden and conservatory furniture direct from a manufacturer, which is sold at heavily discounted prices from April until September each year. As the furniture leaves then a large range of quality Christmas decorations arrive followed in December by a massive selection of the finest Christmas tress. There will be a wide range of both potted and cut trees: traditional spruce and needle retention varieties.
This year has seen the completion of a fabulous conservatory from Gwent Aluminium who can build to your own specifications.
All in all there is so much to see but leave yourself plenty of time for a leisurely walk around. But don't worry you can take the weight off your feet anytime you like by relaxing in the coffee shop, serving you with a wholesome range of goodies.
