LEXUS GB has given the green light for its customers to join almost 500,000 other drivers in the UK by safeguarding their vehicles with Tracker stolen vehicle recovery systems.
The GB arm of the luxury car manufacturer has given its approval to Tracker Monitor as well as Tracker's premium system, Tracker Horizon, after putting the products through rigourous testing. Lexus dealers will undertake extensive training to be able to install the equipment in all current Lexus models.
Paul Fricker, manager, accessories at Lexus GB, said: Our decision to approve Tracker was really very simple. Whatever means of security manufacturers fit to their vehicle - and Lexus has a proud and award-winning tradition in this respect - history has shown thieves will find a way. Tracker's performance and experience is second to none and we want our customers to benefit from that and ensure their anti-theft provisions are as water tight as possible.
