BILLED as a "campus-style" development, The Pavilions at Llantarnam Park, Cwmbran, is nearing completion.
It comprises six stand-alone buildings providing a total of 35,000 sq ft. The developer, the Welsh Development Agency, is aiming to attract businesses in fast-growing, knowledge-based industries.
Each unit is either two-storey, 5,000 sq ft, or three-storey, 7,500 sq ft and they're almost ready for occupation.
Letting agents Chesterton in Cardiff have been appointed to handle the scheme.
Stuart Hogg, director of the Cardiff office, said: "The buildings are of a high standard of design and we will be targeting our marketing towards innovating occupiers in the high tech, computer and software sectors.
"Our aim is to establish a cluster of occupiers in these sectors that will enable well-paid employment opportunities to be created.
"We're able to offer suites from around 2,500 sq ft up to 7,500 sq ft in a single building and have already started to record strong levels of interest."
Main contractor Mowlem is on course to finish construction of the units by the end of this month.
Under the BREEAM building standards system, the development is hoping to achieve the top "excellent" rating.
To qualify, the development needs to demonstrate the highest standards of building design and efficiency.
