PEOPLE in Gwent can now show their support for our Sparkle Appeal with new Sparkle merchandise.
Businesses, schoolchildren and volunteers have been sparkling for the last three months and now the Sparkle Appeal is launching badges, teddy bears, mugs and T-shirts to keep people sparkling.
We launched the Sparkle Appeal in December to raise £250,000 towards a new £6million children''s centre to help disabled children in Torfaen, south Monmouthshire and Newport.
So far we have had help from children as young as five, Maindee firefighters have pledged their support and Newport businesses such as Barclays and Alcatel have got involved.
Now there is an extra way to support - by buying that special someone a Sparkle teddy bear with the words 'You put a sparkle in my eye' written across a banner.
One-off Sparkle mugs, T-shirts and pin badges are also available from the Sparkle Office.
Sophie Hatton, seven, from Blackwood, has already sold badges to family and friends. If you want some for your workplace or family contact the Sparkle Office. For more information call 01633 656212.
