Information evenings at Newport's University have been so successful that it has been decided to include both part-time AND full-time course enquiries for the next programme.
"These evenings are the ideal opportunity for anyone considering either a part-time or full-time course to chat to course leaders and have any queries answered," said Head of Student Recruitment, Robert Dare. "The events are very informal, and we invite people to drop in when they can between 4.30pm and 7.30pm.
"I would advise anyone who is thinking of starting a course to come along. One-to-one assistance on courses in invaluable, and the information obtained at these evenings has been shown to be hugely beneficial in helping people decide on a future career path.
Help and advice on student support, bursaries, grants, and alumni discounts will also be available."
Last year the University's open evenings attracted more than a thousand people from all over South Wales and the surrounding area to find out about the wide range of courses on offer.
The timetable for the forthcoming information evenings is: -
Tuesday May 18th Tuesday June 15th Tuesday July 13th Tuesday August 10th Wednesday September 1st Tuesday September 7th
The evenings will take place between 4.30pm - 7.30pm and will run from both the Allt-yr-yn and Caerleon campuses, depending on the area of interest.
Visit the Allt-yr-yn Campus for courses including Accounting, Art Foundation, Business and Management, Computing and IT, Counselling, Engineering and Social Studies.
The Caerleon Campus will have expert information on Access and Foundation courses, Art, Media and Design, Education and Training, Humanities and Science, and Professional Development in Education.
