A former medical secretary turned fashion designer from Blaenavon was one of the stars of last year's annual Fashion Show at the University.
Deborah Bull's designs representing the Darker Side of the Moon were among the innovative and dazzling costumes to be seen on the Caerleon catwalk.
Deborah decided to make the career change to fashion designer when her children went to school. "It's been an amazing experience," she said, "and I've learned so much.
Fashion and costumes have always been a passion of mine. This course has opened doors for me and enabled me to change career and move into the higher end of the fashion market.
"It was a huge decision giving up a secure well-paid job but I knew that after I'd taken time out to look after my children that this was the time to do it."
