ORGANISERS of Tredegar Folk Festival say it was another big success.
The weekend of dance and music was jam-packed with events, including concerts, workshops, dance displays and storytelling.
With the support of the Arts Council Lottery Fund and Newport City Council, the showcase attracted several thousand people.
The festival is run by the Tredegar House Folk Festival Society.
Organiser, chairman and secretary of the event, Steve Lake, said: "It was marvellous this year, the weather was a bit better than last year - Sunday was glorious in the afternoon and the open air folk dancing had more of a chance."
He said the event attracted people of all ages and nationalities.
