GYLES BRANDRETH - vile jumpers, insufferable smugness, and an ex-Tory Whip. What's not to like?
But with so many counts against him, the man must surely have some talent to have remained in the public eye for so long.
And he'll be showing off, in fishnet stockings, on Tuesday in Swansea when he presents his latest big idea.
Zipp! promises to do for musicals what the Reduced Shakespeare Company did for the Bard of Avon. It's 100 musicals for the price of one, in a high-speed run through everything from the 1900 show Floradora, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and Lloyd-Webber's recent hit Bombay Dreams.
You'll also find out about the musicals that were written out of history like Sideshow, a musical about Siamese Twins, and Lionel Bart's failed Robin Hood show Twang!
Gyles said: "We give you the complete works of Andrew Lloyd-Webber in 60 seconds, the showstoppers without the tedium of the intervening show, and if you don't like one musical don't worry - there'll be another one along in just a minute."
Zipp! is at Swansea Grand on Tuesday, beginning at 7.30pm. Tickets range from £11 to £15 from the box office on 01792 475715.
