A NEW special-edition of Hyundai's ever-popular Getz supermini has just been launched - with an eye for low-cost insurance and the younger driver, the Getz 1.3 Sport is on sale now. Making this new car even more enticing is the fact the 1.3 Sport, like all Getz, comes with three years' free servicing until the end of March 2004.
The Getz 1.3 Sport three-door will retail at £9,295, and be powered by the familiar 1,341cc engine available currently in other Getz. The 1.3 Sport generates 81bhp at 5500rpm, delivers 116.7Nm/86.1 lb.ft of torque at 3200rpm, does the 0-62mph dash in 11.5 seconds and has a top speed of 102mph.
The Getz 1.3 Sport has a huge list of standard features as is the Hyundai tradition: driver and passenger airbags, anti-lock brakes with electronic brake force distribution, power steeling, air conditioning, electric front windows, stereo RDS radio/CD player, electric heating door mirrors, keyless entry and alarm, rear spoiler, body colour side and front skirts, leather steering wheel and gearknob, front foglights and 15 inch alloy wheels. The 1.3 Sport also returns excellent fuel economy: 54.3mpg on the extra urban run, 35.3mpg urban and 45.6 combined.
And don't forget the Getz, in common with the whole range, has Hyundai's unbeatable five-year, unlimited mileage, fully transferable warranty as standard.
