A CHEPSTOW couple are set to become Gwent's latest reality television stars when they feature on a new documentary series about the stresses and strains of moving house.
David and Josephine Jones, who own the Riverside Pottery and Gallery, in Bridge Street, gave a television crew from Channel 4 access to the 16-week process of selling their Tutshill home and moving to Ruffets Close in Chepstow.
The series kicks-off at 8pm, on Tuesday, March 2, but the hour-long show featuring the Jones' is due to be broadcast on March 9.
The couple decided to move to a smaller house after they became involved with working in the pottery and gallery.
"In our old home we had such a large garden that we just didn't have time to carry out the work after setting up the pottery."
The Jones' sold their old home for £179,000 and their new home cost £123,000.
Mrs Jones, 56, said: "Moving house is always a nightmare and after this move, I swore I'd never put myself through it again.
"It was a relatively easy move but there were some parts of it when everything went pear-shaped. I got quite stressed at times so I'm dreading seeing what made the final edit of the programme."
Channel 4 found the Jones' through the estate agents used in the move and a spokeswoman for the channel said they were perfect subjects for the show.
She said: "Mr and Mrs Jones could not have been more brilliant, they were so different to all the others we had on the series."
