JOE Calzaghe went head-to-head yesterday with the man who stands in the way of a million dollar bonanza.
Gwent's world super-middleweight champion is planning three major fights this year - including bouts with Glencoffe Johnson for the IBF light-heavyweight title and the winner of the Roy Jones/Antonio Tarver WBC clash.
Calzaghe's promoter Frank Warren missed out in the purse bids for the latter fight, secured by USA's top man Don King for $8.5m.
Warren is still in America negotiating for the winner to meet Calzaghe - but first the Newbridge fighter has to defeat Mger Mkrtchian at the Cardiff Ice Rink tomorrow.
It will be the unbeaten 31-year-old's 14th defence of his world crown, equalling Chris Eubank's British record.
