Dragons back-row forward Michael Owen, pictured, insists he has put the heartbreak of missing the World Cup behind him and just wants to move on.

Owen is one of seven replacements for Wales' opening Six Nations clash against Scotland at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday. It is his first involvement with the Welsh set-up since withdrawing from the World Cup through injury.

And the 23-year-old insists he is looking forward to putting the World Cup behind him and kick-starting his Wales career.

"I'm chuffed to bits to be involved again," he said. "It would have been nice to start the game but I'm expecting to have at least 20 minutes and you can't really ask for more than that at this stage.

"I've put the World Cup situation behind me and although there will be a certain amount of closure on Saturday, I really stopped thinking about it as soon as I was back in training with the Dragons."

Owen, capped eight times, expects Scotland to come out with all guns blazing as their players look to impress new coach Matt Williams.

"You've always got to fear a team with a new manager as they want to impress, but the confidence in the Welsh camp is incredible and I really think it is too tight to call.

"It could come down to a moment of individual brilliance and if you look at the team Steve has picked then you could say that there are plenty of players in our side capable of that."
