Young Chepstow rider Gemma Plumley has been included in the British Young Rider International squad for 2004.
She is one of 13 members who will take part in a full programme of international shows and training sessions, concluding with the Junior/Young Rider European Championships in Villamora, Portugal, from July 14-18.
Plumley, daughter of former Olympic showjumper Debbie Johnsey and her husband Gary, the former Newport County goalkeeper, is one of the most talented young riders in the country.
She has already been among the medals at European Junior Championships and been highly placed at major international horse shows, including the Horse of the Year Show.
