LIVE dates in Wales are expected from cLOUDED soon but in the meantime they're releasing a single and album, Dead Dogs Two and Ten.
A comical sounding trio (they're part Tenacious B, part South Park character) they use a self-satisfied style of comedy built on quirky voices and ambient drones.
On Dead Dogs Two and Ten the lyrics leap back and forth between the two singers who expertly lay themselves on the keyboards and bird noises.
Come the b side, there's even some Tangerine Dream-like oddities which invoke shivers before the chuckles begin.
Their blend of the surreal and quirky is reminiscent of Gong's Flying Teapot trilogy with its strong narrative and characterisations. Dead Dogs Two and Ten is released on Monday, January 26. Watch Mono for live dates.
