ALFA Romeo has unlocked a floodgate of interest in the new Alfa GT, months before it arrives in UK showrooms! Gwent-based LC Motors Alfa Romeo had been inundated with customers clambering for information on the exciting new coupe due in the dealership in April.
The wave of interest follows reams of positive press published in recent weeks by the national motoring media. The surge in demand has been so intense, Alfa Romeo UK has increased its initial order to 300 cars to ensure no customer is left disappointed.
Heralded for its stunning good looks and championed for its practicality, the eagerly awaited Alfa GT has proved an instant hit throughout the national motoring fraternity for providing drivers, and passengers, the best of both worlds - sports car performance and style yet acres of space.
Designed in co-operation with the world-renowned Bertone, the stunning Alfa GT brings a further dimension to the distinctive Alfa Romeo range already boasting the recently restyled Alfa 156 saloon and Sportwagon as well as the legendary GTV coupe and Spider convertible.
From launch, Alfa GT customers will have the choice of a broad range of engines, from the 2-litre JTS and ultra-powerful 3.2-litre V6 petrol units, to the pioneering new 1.9-litre 16-valve Multijet diesel which produces a whopping 150bhp and yet yields 48mph on the combined cycle.
A spokesman for LC Motors Alfa Romeo said: "Everyone here has been completely taken aback by the level of interest in the Alfa GT. For those who are seeking the pinnacle of affordable motoring excellence, wrapped up in a beautiful coupe body, the Alfa GT looks set to be our star performer."
