GWENT-born actor Victor Spinetti (pictured) has sent out a SOS - to help him get back to his Ebbw Vale roots.
The 70-year-old, who long career includes appearances in the classic Beatles' 1960s films such as Help!, began his career with Ebbw Vale Playgoers.
He was inspired to become an actor by their artistic director, Heulwen Richards. She has since died but Victor kept in touch with her daughter, Louise, until recently.
They last met in March 2001, when Victor was starring at Swansea Grand in the stage version of Hitchcock's The Lady Vanishes.
Although he receives a Christmas card from her every year, the actor does not know Louise's address - or even her married name.
Victor, who is starring in the hit revival of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the London Palladium, said Heulwen was a great influence.
"She was very special to me and so is her daughter Louise. I saw her growing up," he said.
"I would be really pleased if I could trace her and I would love Louise, her husband and their son to come and see the show in London."
