Wales have decided not to appeal against Ryan Giggs' World Cup two game suspension.
The Football Association of Wales and manager Mark Hughes have now accepted the ban, because they fear an appeal could lead to a more lengthy punishment.
Wales' manager Mark Hughes said: "We will not be appealing on the grounds that the suspension could be doubled if we did so.
He added: "We are of the view that we do not want to risk losing Ryan for more World Cup games than we have already."
The winger was found guilty of elbowing Russian defender Vadim Evseev in the European Championship play-off in Moscow after video evidence was used but the main fear for Wales now is that they are not drawn to play England in one of the first two games.
