ST David's Foundation received a donation to tickle the tastebuds - 300 mince pies.
St David's Foundation Hospice Care in Newport received the special delivery from Staff Sergeant Glynn Harrison, on behalf of of 104 Regiment, Royal Artillery, based at Raglan Barracks, as a donation to their Light Up a Life appeal.
Claire Routley, direct appeals officer at St David's, said: "We are very happy with the delivery. After each service we offer people a mince pie and a chance to chat and reflect on the service itself."
The St David's Foundation Hospice Care charity, which offers care and support to people in Newport, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire and Torfaen who have life-threatening illnesses, is holding Light up a Life services to remember loved ones and reflect.
Services will be held at: St Hilda's Church, Griffithstown, tomorrow, 7pm, St Martin's Church, Caerphilly, Wednesday, December 10, 7pm, St Mary's Church, Magor, Thursday, December 11, 7pm, and Abergavenny Methodist Church, Tuesday, December 16, 7pm.
