Welsh wonder boy Ryan Giggs today faces his second misconduct charge in a week.

The Manchester United hero was cited by Russia after an alleged elbow on their right-back Vadim Evseev in last month's Euro 2004 play-off first-leg in Moscow.

UEFA's Control and Disciplinary body will examine the Improper conduct charge against Giggs at their meeting in the Swiss city of Nyon today.

The left-winger, who celebrated his 30th birthday last week, was not punished by the Portuguese referee Lucillio Batista but the seething Russians went to the extent of e-mailing video footage of the apparent incident to UEFA in the hope they would ban Giggs from the second-leg in Cardiff four days later.
