CHILDREN at a Torfaen centre for the disabled had a very special visitor - one of Wales' Rugby World Cup heroes.
Wales prop Iestyn Thomas visited the TOGs Centre in New Inn on Saturday to give them a rugby ball signed by every member of the squad that travelled to Australia.
Cynthia Beynon, who runs the centre for mentally and physically disabled children, said: "The visit went lovely and all the children were so excited to have him there.
"His visit came about because one of our staff knows Iestyn and knew he had this ball signed by the Welsh team that he wanted to give to a local cause.
"He'd heard of us but didn't really know what we were about, but now he's visited he wants to get a little bit more involved, so I'm sure we'll see him again in the future."
