ABERGAVENNY Market's calendar girls have raised over £4,500 for charity with their saucy photo shoot.
Twelve market traders posed for the 2004 calendar, some wearing lingerie, some in costume, and some wearing not much at all.
The calendar girls stripped off to raise money for the Noah's Ark Appeal and the St David's Foundation, and the £3.95 calendar is sold in the market and throughout the town.
The titillating but tasteful calendar has proved popular with customers, and copies have even been sent to Hong Kong and the USA.
Miss December, Maria Goddard who works on Oaes's Socks and Pants, said: ""All the customers have said how good the calendar is. We are amazed with the response. Everyone has been really positive. My husband has one up in his work!
"I was really nervous about doing the shoot, but I'm glad I went through with it because it's for such a good cause."
Calendar organiser and Miss February, Karen Reed, who runs the Buds and Bows market stall, said: "To raise so much money in just three months is amazing, but we want to raise quite a bit more."
And ladies, there's no need to feel left out - a calendar featuring the 'market men' is planned for 2005!
