WELSH lamb, Welsh cheese and even Welsh crisps were available for free in Cwmbran yesterday when the True Taste Trailer came to town.
The organisation, which travelled the country promoting the best of home- grown foods, set up in General Rees Square to give shoppers a taste of the best of Wales.
True Taste demonstrator Sian Roberts said yesterday: "We work with the Welsh Food Directory helping to promote all the Welsh products on sale in supermarkets.
"Most of them are winners at the food awards that were held last week. "Everything is absolutely delicious.
"It's been quiet today because of the bad weather but people like the fact that they can try the food for themselves and they like the fact that it is all Welsh."
