Newport County's players are dreaming of an FAW Premier Cup date with Welsh club football's hierarchy - but boss Peter Nicholas has brought his men crashing to Earth.
The Exiles need just one point from two home Group B clashes to secure qualification for the money-spinning quarter-final and a possible Spytty Park match-up with either Cardiff City, Wrexham, Swansea City or Barry Town.
Nicholas, though, maintains his rejuvenated County are not getting carried away ahead of tonight's home fixture with Connah's Quay Nomads (7.30pm).
"We have got to do a job to tonight before we can start thinking about possible quarter-final opponents," Nicholas assertively insisted.
Obviously a tie against one of Wales' Football League sides is a very attractive proposition but we haven't got there yet.
"We need two points from the remaining two games, Connah's Quay tonight and Rhyl on Monday, to be certain of a place in the last eight. We must do a professional job against Connah's Quay tonight as they we are team we should beat. But they need a win to remain in this competition so it won't be easy for us.
"I will be playing my strongest team available because I'm not going to get complacent and allow a chance of a slip-up, that would be a disaster."
On-loan midfielder Andrew Mumford returns from a three-match FAW Premier Cup ban tonight while skipper Gary Lloyd (pictured below), suspended for Dr Martens League games, is clear to play in this Welsh pyramid competition.
"I will tell my players that I will accept nothing less than a win tonight," said Nicholas (pictured above), whose men are searching for their fifth straight success in all competitions.
"They don't need to be told what is at stake. "Achieving qualification to the quarter-finals will be a football and financial boost to this club. With the position we are in, we need to make the last eight."

* Cwmbran Town's reward for disposing of Llanelli in their Welsh Cup Round Three tie is a fourth round tie at fellow Welsh Premier side Caernarfon Town. The game will be played on Saturday, February 7.
