CWMBRAN Town return to domestic action tomorrow when they will be hoping to erase Wednesday night's disappointing defeat.
The Crows lost 3-0 to Port Talbot in the Welsh Premier League Cup, first round, first leg at Cwmbran Stadium.
And Crows manager Brian Coyne has demanded that his side put in a better performance against Bangor City in their Welsh Premier League game on Saturday.
He said: "I think on Wednesday night it was an 'after the Lord Mayor's show' type of performance.
"Mentally we were a bit tired and Port Talbot were up for it and that's what it came down to. They were sharper than us and that was the difference, we started very sloppy and perhaps their minds were still in Turkey.
"And if that's what it needed to get it our of their minds then so be it. Performances like that happen at this level and I've learnt a lot about my players after that performance."
But no-nonsense Scottish-born coach Coyne has vowed to ensure that his side are mentally 'up for it', when they visit Farrar Road at the weekend.
"I can change their mental attitude and I'm sure you'll see a different Cwmbran on Saturday.
"In the dressing room after Wednesday night's game the lads were all disappointed and quite rightly they should be.
"It's up to me to make sure that's the end of it now and Turkey is out of their minds and in a way it's better to lose 3-0 in the cup rather then the league as that's our bread and butter.
"The league is our priority this season and we'll have to turn things around for the weekend.
"Fitness wise we still aren't there and I think that was evident tonight but we're improving with each game and the sharpness is starting to come.
"We didn't get the rub of the green on Wednesday and that was a factor but our overall performance wasn't good enough and we'll have to improve on Saturday.
