NEWPORT songwriter Harry Brooks is set for untold riches, taking his place near the top of a list of talented youngsters drawn up by the compilers of the Rich List.
But the talented teenager, who has written hit singles for the likes of boy band Blue, may have to wait until 2020, when he will be 36, to amass his predicted fortune of £45 million.
The 19-year-old former Bassaleg pupil wrote the hit single You Make Me Wanna while sat in a chemistry lesson and now looks set for mega-stardom and spectacular wealth.
Harry is number three on a list of talented young Britons tipped for the top on a Rich List compiled by the team behind the influential Sunday Times Rich List.
Harry told the Argus that he was "shocked" to see his name on the list ahead of football superstar Wayne Rooney and Bend It Like Beckham actor Jamie Bell.
He said: "It was a bit of a shock to see my name on that list. It is something that I will try to live up to. A goal I can aim for in the future.
"To be honest though, I am still getting songs together for my album and that is my immediate goal."
