A DISAPPOINTING film, Jeepers Creepers 2 fails to capitalise on the intense horror the original generated in its opening.
This is a tired sequel which sees the Creeper return to cause mayhem for 23 days before he disappears for another 23 years.
And a bus load of high school jocks and cheerleaders, stranded on a deserted highway, are about to find out that many of them are in for a grisly end.
Drawing inspiration from a myriad of different films from Jurassic Park to Jaws one of the main problems of the film is a complete apathy at the fate of the unsympathetic characters and wooden performances from the young cast, coupled with dialogue that is genuinely horrific.
In a summer devoid of many decent blockbusters, this is another one that bites the dust.
