A GWENT woman was found dead at a Vale of Glamorgan beauty spot. Police confirmed last night that the body found at Boverton Beach, Llantwit Major, on Friday evening, was that of Jillian Saunders, of Raglan.
A police spokeswoman said: "She was reported missing earlier, on Friday, August 8, and witnesses confirmed she had travelled to the Llantwit Major area.
"South Wales Police were made aware of the situation, and just after 9pm, received reports of a body being found in an area known locally as Summerhouse Point."
Police say her death is not being treated as suspicious.
