GMTV Totstar winner Demi Holborn (pictured) entertained shoppers in Newport on Saturday with a charity performance for a clothes shop.
The 11-year-old singer from Trevethin, Pontypool, sang in the Etam store on Commercial Street in aid of the charity When You Wish Upon a Star. The charity aims to send children with life-threatening illnesses on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to see Father Christmas in Lapland.
Thanks to Demi the store raised £345 on Saturday. Etam store manager Tracey Fowler said: "Demi was absolutely brilliant. She was really enthusiastic and even stayed on to sign autographs.
The street outside the shop was at a standstill. Everybody was crowding round to listen to her. I had a tear in my eye. You wouldn't believe a small girl could have such a beautiful voice."
Staff will be taking part in other events for the charity, including a sponsored walk through Caerleon on Sunday.
