JENNA Brookfield's ex-boy-friend yesterday told a murder trial jury her stepfather, Michael Baldwin, threatened to break his legs.
The jury at Cardiff crown court heard that Christopher Jones, 20, started going out with Jenna when she was 13 and he was 18 - and Michael and Desiree Baldwin were unhappy about it.
Soon after there was an incident at Mr Jones' sister's house in Blaenavon, the court heard.
Mr Jones told jurors: "He was shouting and he wanted to break my legs." He added Baldwin confronted Jenna. "She was in the garden, she was shouting at him, but at the end of it Mike grabbed Jenna by the back of the neck and dragged her out," he said.
"Desiree apologised to my sister and they left." Mr Jones also admitted he and Jenna regularly took speed, saying she introduced him to the drug.
He also claimed Jenna told him several times that she hated her stepfather. Mr Jones' sister, Jacqueline Price, told jurors she also saw Baldwin drag Jenna by the hair.
Ms Price said: "She was crying and shouting. He was also shouting." Baldwin, 36, formerly of Limekiln Road, Pontnewynydd, denies murdering Jenna last September. Proceeding.
