A MAN robbed at knife-point in his Usk home on Monday, was taunted about his sexual orientation by his attackers, police revealed.
Further details of the jewellery stolen - worth about £100,000 - were also released yesterday.
Jason Gundy, who lives at Llanbadoc with partner Christopher Hill, was hooded and tied up with washing-line during the incident.
Supt John Burley said: "The attackers abused Jason about his sexual orientation, but we believe the primary motive was theft."
He said there were four robbers: one is described as male, white, aged over 16, suntanned, between 5ft 8in and 5ft 11in, with pock-marked skin, and wearing a baseball cap that was possibly beige . Anybody with information is asked to contact the police on 01633 838111.
