YOU may not know this soccer superstar's name yet - but Gwent teenager Abbas Farid is setting screens alight in the latest Nike advert.
The 19-year-old, from Devon Place, Newport, displays incredible ball juggling skills to promote the famous brand in its latest amazing advert.
Abbas this week became UK football freestyle champion - an accolade which honours his skills and tricks with a football, rather than his dribbling.
Freestyle is all about rhythm, attitude and stunning ball moves. And winning the NIKE/ MTV Freestyle championships in Manchester means his extraordinary talents are being screened on an advert on MTV Base, after viewers overwhelmingly voted for him.
He will also exhibit his skills during half-time at a Manchester United game at Old Trafford next season and will feature in a series of Nike poster adverts around Newport.
Abbas said: "It feels really great to have won. I want to make a career out of my freestyle skills, so it's a good step towards that and something special to have on my CV." The teenager was featured on Monday's edition of children's programme Blue Peter, just hours after finding out he had won.
He's also looking forward to performing at Old Trafford. "Who knows, I might meet some of my heroes, that would be cool. It would be even better if they buy Ronaldinho because he's a bit of a hero of mine. He is an inspiration."
