JENNA Brookfield's mother begged Michael Baldwin to reveal where her daughter was buried - and threatened to stop him seeing his son unless he helped detectives, jurors heard.
Giving evidence at her husband's murder trial, Desiree said she pleaded with Baldwin - over the telephone and while visiting him in prison - urging him to end her torment and say where Jenna's body lay.
Finally, she told Cardff crown court, he revealed the location in a telephone conversation, after she said that if he did not tell her he would not be allowed to see his son, Josh, again.
"After a lot of me begging, he eventually told me where she was. "He said, 'she's over the Keeper's'," she said.
Jurors also heard how a clairvoyant told Desiree that Jenna was buried nearby and Baldwin would get life imprisonment.
And the court heard how Baldwin, 36, was cold towards his wife when she visited him in prison.
"He had already stopped loving me," she said.
