AFTER the disappointment of missing the cut in the Malaysian Open, Blackwood's Bradley Dredge, pictured, has made the third round of the Dubai Desert Classic.
The signs didn't look good for Dredge, who shot a first round score of 73 - one over par - on Thursday.
But he later found his form and fired 69 to make the cut by two shots and extend his stay in Dubai.
"My ball striking was much better and I think that made the difference," said Dredge.
"I struggled with it during the first round, but Thursday was a lot better. I was just more consistent and made a couple of putts on the front nine and that really helped to settle me down.
Phillip Price also made the cut following his two rounds of 71 and 67. Both are chasing Ernie Els and Mikko Ilonen who were 10 under par.
