BEDWAS know all about cup giant-killers, having been ones themselves on more than one occasion, writes Paul Tully.
That's why they'll take nothing for granted when Division Five Central leaders Nantymoel visit the Bridge Field in round six on Saturday.
Nevertheless, coach Steve Law acknowledges it will be a massive shock if his First Division side don't make it into round seven and the chance of a plum draw against a major side.
"It's definitely a game we would be very, very disappointed to lose," said Law.
"I know Nantymoel top their division and haven't lost a league game for two years and that they'll bring the whole village here for what they'll regard as their cup final.
"But it'll be a good Division Five side against a very good Division One side and the gap should be too big to bridge.
"We made the mistake last year of going to Bonymaen, who had been playing poorly, and making changes and we came unstuck with Bonymaen going on to earn a plum draw against Newport.
Bedwas have made six changes and one positional switch. Andrew James comes in at full-back and Wayne Bray is the scrum-half while there are four switches in the pack.
Bedwas: A James, S Sancala, M Price, A Harrison, N Hill, P Williams, W Bray, J Viner, M Davies, J Salter, N Jones, R Hughes, O Ankors, C Brown, D Mattravers (capt). Replacements: J Tilley, L Pearce, Rhodri Edwards, H Davies, M Lewis, N Gittins, P Phillips.
