EBBW Vale are waiting for fitness tests on three players before they finalise their side to face Neath in the Welsh League at Eugene Cross Park tomorrow.
Wing Nick Wakely (ankle), lock Neil Edwards (shoulder) and lock or blindside flanker Chay Billen (calf) all have slight problems and were testing their fitness today.
Edwards and Billen have both been named in the team while Wakely has been bracketed with Aaran Takarangi on the right wing.
Outside-half Scott Mitchell also has a hamstring niggle, but is expected to be fit.
Nevertheless, Vale coach Mike Ruddock has not named his replacements yet while he waits for fitness reports.
One player who does return after suffering a shoulder injury is flanker Rhys Williams.
Neath field a shadow side in view of their Celtic League final against Munster next week. Flanker James Ringer plays after joining Neath on loan from Bridgend.
Among those left out is Wales lock Gareth Llewellyn, who this week ran Ebbw Vale down, saying he would rather play at places like Leicester.
