THE wife of a man who went missing in Cardiff three weeks ago was back in the city last night, handing out photographs of him to taxi drivers and other members of the public.
Richard Davies went missing at the Reflex bar in St Mary Street on December 20, at about 11pm.
The father of two from Blaenavon disappeared during his works Christmas party and there have been no confirmed sightings of him since.
Police have now revealed it appears he left the premises via the back door, but say other than that they have no new leads in the inquiry.
Last night, Mr Davies' wife, Michelle, was in Cardiff for the second consecutive Friday evening, this time with eight family members and friends, in a desperate attempt to jog the memory of anyone who may have seen him.
Mrs Davies told the Argus: "I've walked most of the city and I won't stop until I have answers. Something snapped in me during the last couple of days, the tears are still coming and I still feel helpless, but now there's an anger as well. I'll do whatever it takes to find my husband.
"There were a lot of people in Cardiff the night Richard went missing, somewhere there must be one person with information. Somebody saw him that night and they might not even know it. I'm determined to find them."
As Mrs Davies spoke to the Argus she was approached by a young student who gave her name as Sharon.
The young woman had come to offer her support, and told Mrs Davies that her boyfriend went missing in London for a month this time last year. Shaking with sobs, she explained that her boyfriend was eventually found in the River Thames.
The two women hugged each other and swapped telephone numbers before Mrs Davies turned her attention back to finding her husband.
She said: "I can't stop now. I will follow every angle and will do so for as long as it takes to find the one person who can give me what I need."
DC Stuart Summers, of Cwmbran CID, said: "Despite our appeals no members of the public have come forward."
When he was last seen Mr Davies was wearing a light blue shirt, navy trousers and tan-coloured shoes.
Anyone with information can call Gwent Police on 01633 838111.
