GWENT adventurer Robert Munslow is making final preparations for his epic rowing journey.
The 24-year-old from Monmouth is set to swap the calm waters of the Thames for the shark-infested Indian Ocean with his rowing partner Simon Chalk.
This is his second att-empt to row an ocean - last year's bid as part of a four man team ended when their craft sank after 21 days at sea.
The two are hoping to make it to the Reunion Islands in May having left Kalbarri in Australia in their challenge-class ocean rower.
If they manage the feat they will break several world records including first double-handed row across the Indian Ocean.
