WHEN 28-year-old IT consultant Paolo Meletti realised he had to move back to Caerphilly due to ill-health and family problems, he needed a viable business concept to support himself.
Castle-Net on Pontygwindy Road is the result - a stylish cyber cafe offering broadband access to the Internet via ten PCs.
In the near future he wants to offer IT training, web hosting and web page creation.
Caerphilly council assisted Paolo with a start-up grant of £750.
Paolo has also received funds from The Prince's Trust and from an entrepreneurial bursary called KEV.
Castle-Net is open from 10am to 8pm, Monday to Friday, and from 11am to 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
