THE Celtic Manor Resort is claiming its selection for the 2010 Ryder Cup has electrified interest in corporate hospitality for this year's Welsh Open.
The more than 3,000 hospitality seats for the May 29-June1 tournament are selling at three times the rate of last year's event.
"This response has exceeded all our expectations," said tournament chairman Andy Stanton.
The Wales Open is a prime date on the European Tour International Schedule as it follows immediately on from the Volvo PGA Championship at Wentworth.
Hospitality packages are available from £125 to £245 plus VAT.
Guests will be entertained either at the clubhouse or in a two-tier pavilion overlooking the 18th green.
