Rock 'n 'roll sister Linda Gail Lewis, pictured with Tom Jones, plays a welcome gig in her new home town next week.

The piano-playing, barnstorming singer, who is sister to Jerry Lee Lewis, will be in the Mount Stuart, Cardiff, on Friday, December 13.

Linda has lived in South Wales for the past few years but grew up with her brother on the banks of the Mississippi. Her life and friends past and present reads like a Who's Who of rock'n'roll (look who she's pictured with here!) and she has stories to match.

During the 1970s she was back- stage with Jerry Lee when John Lennon came to pay his respects - by kissing his feet!

Linda is currently in a legal dispute with a former employer, a popular singer-songwriter who cannot be named.

She is often away playing Europe and America, and her gig in the Mount Stuart is a rare opportunity to hear her go full tilt at a set of ivories.

Like her brother before her, Linda is a wild rock 'n 'roll entertainer and not averse to booting her piano stool across the stage.

Her appropriately titled new album, Out of the Shadows, was released recently on the Ten35 label.
