FUNDRAISERS will be playing darts for darts' sake at a Newport club tomorrow - to raise cash to help decorate a ward at the city's St Woolos Hospital.
A group of friends will be dressing up as nurses to take part in the sponsored darts marathon at the Ebbw Bridge Club on Cardiff Road, Maesglas, from 3pm-11pm.
Organiser Russell Jones said the event will help pay for brightening up part of the hospital's Penhow Ward.
"I did a 34-mile bike ride for the Royal Gwent and St Woolos Cardiology Fund and thought I'd like to do something else, because St Woolos is a bit of a forgotten hospital," he said.
