A BLACKWOOD pub landlord is one of several new members who have boosted the work of Caerphilly Tourism Association in highlighting the district's attractions.
Caerphilly includes the old Islwyn borough council and Paul Taylor, of the Cross Oak pub, is putting his weight behind the Association's campaign.
"I am enthusiastic not only about my business, but Caerphilly county borough as a whole," he said. "I want others to appreciate what we have to offer.
"By working together we are stronger."
The association is pleased with its recruitment drive success.
A new marketing campaign focusing on the borough is the catalyst for the surge in interest, as the association draws up plans for a UK-wide promotion.
Members of the CTA range from heritage and history attractions to countryside parks as well as accommodation outlets and restaurants.
Anita Evans, owner of Highfields Guest House in Hengoed, and another new member, said: "Becoming a member of the association offers exciting prospects both in terms of networking and promotion."
