JESSE James, a six-piece soul/punk act, have added a last-minute date in TJ's to their current tour.
Think Dexy's Midnight Runners meets The Clash meets Blink 182, and you're not far off. They have just come off tour with Bowling for Soup, and have also supported Spunge, Brian Setzer, Pogues, Lit and 311, as well as having played the Leeds and Reading festivals.
After two top-selling EPs on Deck Cheese Records the band have found a new home with Golf Records (home to Snuff, Consumed, Less Than Jake and Mighty Mighty Bosstones) who release their debut full-length album.
Packed with brass-backed, soul-driven punk anthems, Punk, Soul, Brothers is one of the loudest UK releases of the year.
The album Punk, Soul, Brothers was released on Monday, October 21, followed by the single, Empty Tank, on Monday, November 18, both on Golf Records, distributed by Plastic Head.
Jesse James play TJs, Clarence Place, Newport on Saturday, December 14.
