WALES must meet fire with fire when they take on Canada at the Millennium Stadium today, insists skipper Colin Charvis (pictured).
He believes Wales must be wary of the Canadians despite the momentum they have gained from successive victories against Romania and Fiji.
"Canada beat Scotland and they have got a lot of experience at a high level," said Charvis.
"They have got a lot of players involved at the top level in European rugby and they are going to pose quite a threat to us.
"Their pack is very powerful and it is an area where we will have to match fire with fire.
"We'll have to focus on working harder up front and we have got to win as much ball as possible.
"All three members of their front row are playing or have played in Wales, so it's a huge challenge for us.
"All of their pack deserve credit. It's going to be tough for us to get one over them.
"A few of the Fiji players were lazier around the park, but Canada will not be like that, so it will be completely different for us.
"We all know Canada offer a more structured game than Fiji. A lot of their players are based in Europe, and it will be a more competitive game than last week."
Having said that, Charvis (pictured) wants Wales to maintain the momentum they have gained from back-to-back victories.
"There have been hints that last week was the most complete performance under Steve Hansen, but as a group we need to work better," said Charvis.
