LLANELLI lock Vernon Cooper makes his debut for Wales in Saturday's clash with Canada at the Millennium Stadium.
Cooper becomes the fourth lock tried by coach Steve Hansen in the autumn internationals.
Robert Sidoli, probably established as the number one, stands down this time with Cooper brought in to partner Gareth Llewellyn.
Cooper's Llanelli teammate Robin McBryde is recalled at hooker after missing the Romania and Fiji games because of a foot injury.
But the back row remains the same, meaning Scott Quinnell has to be content with a place on the bench.
Hansen keeps the back row which performed so well against the Fijians, Dafydd Jones remaining after an impressive debut alongside skipper Colin Charvis at number eight and Martyn Williams.
It will inevitably lead to speculation about Quinnell facing the All Blacks, especially as he is still having problems with his suspect knee.
The only change in the back division is at outside centre where Jamie Robinson starts in place of Tom Shanklin, the player he replaced against Fiji after only nine minutes.
There was a scare about Robinson's fitness as well after he suffered a dead leg, and Newport centre Andy Marinos was put on standby.
But Robinson came through a fitness test today and continues his partnership with Sonny Parker.
Marinos fails to make the bench, the more versatile Dafydd James returning after being recalled to the squad only this week.
Canada include Newport prop Rod Snow in their side.
