A BRYNMAWR schoolgirl who went missing for four days was reunited with her family yesterday.
Fourteen-year-old Victoria Challenger, known as Vicky, left her home in Bailey Street at about 5pm on Monday, but turned up yesterday at Ebbw Vale police station.
Her father, Michael Challenger, thanked the Argus for its help and said the whole family were relieved to have her back.
He said: "It was such a heartache we didn't know what was happening for four days." Gail Marks, Vicky's aunt, added: "The past few days have been hectic and nerve wracking, but I am glad she is back home."
Sergeant Tony Goss, of Brynmawr police, said Vicky had been staying with a boy from Ebbw Vale.
He said that she was not being held against her will, butm because of her agem they would be speaking to the boy involved.
"The main thing is that she is back home safe and well, but other issues will be followed up by police shortly," he said.
