THE Wales pack has received a boost for the game against Fiji at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday.

Changes have been made in all three rows of the pack after a disappointing performance against Romania at Wrexham last Friday.

Iestyn Thomas, the former Ebbw Vale loose head prop now with Llanelli, earns a recall, with Ben Evans, a replacement last week, starting in place of Martyn Madden.

Gareth Llewellyn, Wales' most capped forward, returns alongside Robert Sidoli, while it's all-change in the back row.

Pace about the field was a problem against Romania which heralds the return of Martyn Williams at openside and skipper Colin Charvis moving to number eight where he has played in the past.

There is also be a first cap for Llanelli's improving back row forward Dafydd Jones on the blindside.

The back division hardly changes, partly because Craig Morgan is on the injured list.

Stephen Jones is recalled at outside half after Neil Jenkins was restored to the role last week.

The promising centre partnership of Tom Shanklin and Sonny Parker receives a second chance.

Fiji cannot play centre Vili Satala against Wales because his club Harlequins are stating Fiji did not abide by the IRB's request that clubs be given 14 days' notice before an international player is released.

Newport captain Simon Raiwalui is in the Fiji side.

There was no change after the RFU made their presentation to the WRU yesterday to stage the 2007 World Cup alone.

The WRU are still insisting their English counterparts reciprocate by giving them matches, as Wales did for England in 1999.

But the RFU says their bid is based on one country holding the tournament, with France doing likewise. The final decision will be made by the International Board in the new year.
