WALES have passed the 120,000-ticket mark for the three-match BT Autumn International Series at the Millennium Stadium this month and have expressed delight with the interest from the Welsh public.

The New Zealand game on November 23 is virtually a 72,500-seater sell-out with an extremely limited amount of tickets still available.

Sales for the Fiji game on Saturday (kick-off 4.30pm) have now passed 30,000 and for the Canada game a week later are around 20,000.

"We had hoped for a 40,000 attendance for both the Fiji and Canada games and believe we are ahead of schedule," said a WRU spokesman. "We are very happy."

"In the first three days after Wales defeated Romania at Wrexham we moved over 4,000 tickets for Fiji's visit," said a WRU ticket office spokesman.

"So we are hoping a win over Fiji will mean an even more significant rise for the following weekend against Canada.

"The response to the New Zealand match has been amazing.

"At least 5,000 fans will be making the trip from the Southern Hemisphere and it will inevitably be a sell-out.

"New Zealand is traditionally the biggest draw, but it's possible a win over the impressive Fijians this weekend could send Canada tickets soaring into the same category."

Fans wishing to buy tickets should visit the WRU website at www.wru.co.uk, the Millennium Stadium ticket office at 98 St Mary Street or call the ticket hotline number of 08705-582582.

Tickets are £20, £15, £10 and £5 concession for Fiji (November 9) and Canada (November 16) and £38 each for New Zealand.
