PONTYPOOL band The Kennedy Soundtrack, pictured, have had their biggest break yet - supporting top American artist Pink at sell-out gigs in Manchester and Dublin.
The band cancelled a show last night at Blackwood Miners' Institute after being invited to play to a crowd of 4,000 at the Manchester Apollo.
Tonight the five lads in the band are set to play their rock and hip-hop influenced music at the Dublin Point, a venue holding 8,000 in the Irish capital.
Band manager Leon Michael said: "We are playing to our biggest crowds ever and it's really cool to be asked to play with Pink. There were lots of bands wanting to support her.
"We apologise to those who were looking forward to the Blackwood gig. But this was an opportunity that we couldn't miss and they don't come along that often.
"The Blackwood show has been postponed until January 24. We hope everyone understands.
"We hope the concerts with Pink will lead onto bigger things as one of the large record labels will be coming over from America to see us play."
On Monday, November 11 the band will be signing their new single, Bloodshot Eyes, at Newport HMV from 4.30pm, before going on to play at TJ's nightclub in Newport.
