BRIDGEND'S Fantastic Superfoofs tour from next week to promote their new single, Devan Endo.

The linguistically-loopy, Lemonhead-led Devan Endo (Evan Dando - a Lemonhead's member), is released on November 11.

A three-piece of early 20 somethings, the band are a bit Lemonhead-like, a bit Nirvana, but have managed to support Coldplay. They are Kristian Williams (vocals/guitar), Darren Hall (bass/vocals) and Navin Verghese (drums).

Aka Eso, Nav and Baz, they formed a couple of years ago when Eso's two housemates formed bands, and he didn't want to be left out. The two bands were Coldplay and My Vitriol. That's how!

Now based in Cardiff they have already recorded a session for Radio One, and a previous single called Bilo Boss was produced by Chris McDonagh who has worked with Super Furry Animals and 60ft Dolls.

The band describe themselves thus: 'Three-piece punktry rock outfit - fresh-faced, charming young gents with good communication skills, with music drawn from Lemonhead, Nirvana, Weezer, You Am I's, Pixies and Get Up Kids.'

They are supported in Cardiff by Natalia, a female fronted nu-metal act who got a good review in Kerrang! for their debut single, and Must Already Be who play their first gig. Fantastic Superfoofs play Barfly, Cardiff on Tuesday. Tickets are £4. Doors open 7.30pm. Surf to the band's amazing website at www.foofs.com or dial 029 2066 7658.
